Statement on the restriction of websites offering unlicensed financial services

The Department of Public Information has added the website of the token marketed as “Tulparcoin” and the foreign exchange platform on which it is traded to the list of restricted sites that it supplies to telecommunications operators.

The department acted at the request of financial supervisors, to protect citizens from unlicensed financial activity. Messaging services are not affected.

The Department reminds residents that the som and the United States dollar are the only legal tender in the Irad Special Economic Zone, and that questions about savings and investments should be taken to a licensed bank.
